Square metre products - input in Millimetres

When you add a lineal metre product, you add qty's of lengths in millimetres, which gives you a total in Metres. This work well for us as everyone works in Millimetres, but our products are bought and sold by the metre.
With square metre products, you have to remember to input the dimensions in metres, it would be nice to keep it the same. Input in millimetres - gives a total of M²

Paul as discussed this needs to be better...
Products sold by the M2 should be able to be entered by the mm. they can currently BUT the view does not hold the 3 places so all the operators see are the fiels with numbers not equal to zero in them... IF it also displayed the 0 it would solve the issue... i.e. .54M should show .540 so when an operator see this they know its 540mm NOT 54mm. this is year 3 school maths team and should not be something we need fixing!
