Save PDF docs generated for Sales and Purchases in Collaborate tab

It would be very handy, if when a document is generated out of Factory, a PDF copy of that document is saved somewhere in Factory (perhaps in the Collaborate area), to refer back to in future. This feature could be used for things like Purchase Orders, Quotes, Invoices etc. Something, un-changable, we can refer to, that is linked to the order, and easily accessible (rather than having to go into a separate email program to find it)

Hi All - if we automatically saved all generated PDFs to the Collaborate tab of the order, possibly under a 'PDFs' label, would this help?
Alternatively we could automatically group the PDFs into labels that represent the document type E.g. labels such as: Work Order PDFs, Quote PDFs, Invoice PDFs etc.

Paul Lutkajtis, Hi Paul, I think the idea of saving the PDF's to the collaborate tab, along with name of PDF, IE quote, work order PO etc, would be ideal. This means all are linked to the work order and going back to a view previous version makes it simple.

I would also like to be able to go back to a pdf version of a quote sent, after customer has requested it be changed and re-send, as occasionally they ask us to go back to the original quotation and specs.
