Leave required date blank by default. It currently defaults to when the original Quote was created.
The created date changes to when the Quote was turned into an Order but the required date stays as the original quote date.
If it could stay blank by default that would be great.

Hi Team - we're reviewing the request at the moment and have a few clarifying questions:
- Should this cover newly created Quotes and Sales Orders I.e. We currently set the Required Date to the current day. Would you like this to stop? (It would be done via a setting you could turn on / off)
- You mentioned converting Quotes to Orders, which is slightly different. It sounds like you would like the Order's required date after conversion to remain blank if the Required Date on the quote was already blank?
Anything else we're missing in our thinking and questions? :)

Paul Lutkajtis We dont work off 'Required Dates". We build when we're able & our production schedule changes daily so we dont want a fixed date on a quote or order that is going to change. Hope that makes sense

would rather this be a setting, i.e. in your system settings you can choose to retain the quote date or not.
retained quote dates often important when a customer is chasing an order... you can say "yes its been 10 days but you sat on the quote for 20 days"
