We are loving the update to Receiving Purchase Orders, where the price in the Product catalog gets updated, however i do have a few suggestions that could improve it even further:
  • The Preferred Supplier in the Product Catalog, should bring in a drop-down menu, with a list of all suppliers, rather than relying on no-typo's happening.
  • Rather than the current "cost price will only update if product is brought from the preferred supplier". I feel Factory should bring a pop-up open when you tick items delivered or billed, the pop-up will give you the chance to tick which items you would like the price to update, in the product catalogue.
This will give the peace-of-mind that the price has updated (which we don't currently get). And also allow us to buy items from a different supplier if they have a sale, while still charging the customer the same price.
We also as a business don't have Preferred Suppliers for a lot of items. We contact several suppliers for a quote, and then order from the cheapest.
