I would have thought that an automatic quote-expiry function would be standard — where the expiry date is populated based on a preset range (e.g., 7 days, 30 days, etc.).

Need to be able to change this... 24 hour quotes 7 day quotes, 30 day quotes are all things we use regularly... i.e. you might special something for 7 days or 24 hours if you have for example a supplier special price you want to use.
Should be a system default days (we use 30) then have the ability to change depending on the skill of a sales person to grab the sale.
Potentially we might want to special something for 7 days but then have it move to a higher price after this.

A field within quoting that allows for setting a time after the quote date that the quote will expire by and to be used in the Quote PDF templates.
Currently using a customer column and manually populating this to set a quote expiry date.

A quote expiry date at the top of a quote would be great, have a deafult setting somewhere that sets it to a nominated expiry time i.e 30 days, 14 days etc. Maricar made us a custom field with the expiry date but it requires manual input.

Marking quotes as Lost would be great, yes you can archive these. But being able to label quotes would be great.
