Buying and Selling the same product in different units

Many products are bought in one unit, but sold in others (such as buying an 8m section, but selling in custom cut lengths).
This functionality would allow you to purchase in one unit, then sell in another, while maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Would be great if we could have different markups for different unit measures - i.e we buy screws by the 1000, but sell them in lots of 100 & 1000, with separate markups, which makes tracking stock nearly impossible at the moment...

This would be very helpful. The vast majority of our stock is bought/sold in varying unit measures, meaning stock is not going to be accurately reflected until this is in place, unless we manually input it- automating stock count was one of the key reasons we wanted to move over to Factory! Thanks.
