Each item received against a purchase order will be assigned a unique batch number to ensure full traceability.

This will allow us to quickly and accurately trace materials back to the specific batch they were received from, including the relevant purchase order and supplier information.

Implementing batch number traceability will strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS), improve our ability to investigate any quality issues, and provide a clear audit trail from receipt of materials through to production and final delivery.
